-Basic Information-
* This Rick is how the original Rick appears in canon. Core form. I will magic him into a human/android via magic anon only TEMPORARILY. Do not send anons that will change him from his original form permanently, please.
*Rick’s serial number is 07131942. (This is actually Harrison Ford’s Birthday! (07/13/1942). Harrison Ford, of course, is the man who plays Indiana Jones.)
* My Rick, for the sake of making roleplaying easier, has a set of arms and legs that are thin and wirey. The hands have three fingers on each and the feet are shaped to look like shoes. They feel rubbery on the outside, and the arms also have the power to extend a small distance away from the rest of him. When asked, he says he gained access to these in an upgrade.
* Rick’s “adventures” are lies. All of them. Although, that probably wasn’t hard to figure out. However, trying to convince Rick that they’re false is impossible. Compulsively lying about where he’s been is something in his programming. The reason he can tell adventure stories in such detail is because every night before he powers down, a programme will begin running in his hard drive that simulates “dreams”, almost like a life simulation that helps him believe that he’s actually adventuring.
* Rick has a tendency to call you by a nickname, no matter who you are. Donned “Rick-names”, the nicknames will usually be based on your looks or personality. Examples are “Pinky” for Fact Core, “Limey” for Wheatley and “Kid” or “Kiddo” for Space.
-Personality-
* Rick’s normal demeanour is calm, relaxed and pleasant. When first meeting him, if you’re a lady, he’ll be more likely than not to flirt with you at least a little bit, calling you pet-names and having a tendency to sweet-talk. If you’re a guy, he’ll most likely act friendly, calling you “buddy” or “pal”, and being good natured. With strangers, he’s always eager to lay on the charm and be well liked.
* However, if you get on Rick’s bad side, he’ll completely change tact. Despite being good natured, he’s not the most patient sphere, and will loose his temper quickly if you mock or belittle him. He can be quite harsh and spiteful if you really push him. But he also isn’t the type to hold a grudge, and can calm down quite quickly. He just doesn’t have the attention span for being constantly angry at someone.
* Rick has a complex about his size that he likes to keep private, but if mocked for it or if his lack of height is pointed out, he may get a little temperamental. He also has a real dislike of being manhandled. Depending on who you are, he may look past it, but he feels a little useless being carried around like a doll. It makes him feel weak and helpless.
* Rick is a flirt, yes, but he isn’t a pervert (well, not that much). He believes in having class above everything else, and being a gentleman. He can be rather romantic, his smooth-talking ways coming in handy when attempting to win someone over. But he does sometimes have a tendency to get carried away and say somewhat intrusive things if you let him talk too much. (An example is with Chell. Since she is mute, she doesn’t verbally reject him, letting Rick feel that she’s completely fine with him saying as he wishes.)
* Rick has a fear of snakes. A huge fear of snakes. Despite them not being able to technically harm him as he’s not organic, and the fact he cannot be bitten, poisoned or constricted, their appearance and the hissing sounds they make are enough to make him incredibly nervous. No one’s too sure where this fear roots from, but since Rick has a few similarities with the character of Indiana Jones, they’re sure it’s a side effect from that.
* Despite lying constantly about adventures though, when it comes to other things, Rick is a poor liar. It’s obvious when he’s in denial about something since he’ll have a tendency to panic and show other visible signs.
* Rick attempts to be seen as a good role model to youngsters. He has a slight big brother complex at times, but finds kids both a mix of cute and bratty. He’ll have his moments of being completely awful with caring for them because his short temper and tolerance for irritating spheres (Space Core, especially) , but on the whole, he can do the part of “Big Brother Rick” quite well.
* Rick himself has attained a few childish qualities, which he switches to sometimes unpredictably. He can be a charming, mature, gentlemanly sphere at once moment but then switch to something close to a child having a tantrum if the right buttons are pushed. This comes out especially around Fact Sphere, the both of them having a tendency to bicker and bring out the worst in each-other. He’ll also act sometimes like a kid playing adventure around the labs, maybe building a fort with left-over boxes and such. (However, he’ll make sure he’s in private when playing those types of games.)
